Original works of art, with their visible brushstrokes and texture, possess an energy that can enhance an environment. Its temperature and emotion often can become the centerpiece of a conversation. The value of the work of art is determined not by style, medium, or the expertise of the artist. Like most things, value is determined by the customer and collector, who appreciate the meaning it conveys through its hues and mood.
The paintings on this page are priced by time, materials, and effort, not by style or popular themes. The subjects shown and the recreations in various mediums were done to inspire, enlighten, invoke emotion, and generally bring peace.
Most of the studies presented are explorations of subject, technique, style, and medium. Each piece has a singular objective: to expand the audience’s horizon and broaden their understanding of the world around them through my eye and how I fit in it.
Note: Originals are not often sold with frames; however, this can be discussed. Shipping is not included in the sales price; this will be determined upon request.
